PASSENGER VAN NEEDED
Veterans Rise Together, Inc. needs a reliable passenger van to transport veterans to community resources.
Reliable transportation will help veterans access medical appointments, Veterans Affairs offices, support programs, educational and employment opportunities, community-resource agencies, and outreach events.
Businesses, churches, dealerships, organizations, and individuals are invited to donate a van or give toward the van fund.

PRAYER-LINE VOLUNTEERS NEEDED
Veterans Rise Together, Inc. is seeking compassionate and dependable volunteers to help serve on our prayer line. Volunteers will provide encouragement, prayer, and a listening ear to veterans and family members facing hardship, grief, loneliness, health concerns, or other challenges.
Prayer-Line Volunteers Should Be:

Compassionate, respectful, and patient.

Dependable and committed to scheduled service.

Able to listen without judgment.

Comfortable praying with and encouraging others.

Able to maintain confidentiality.

Willing to complete any required orientation or training.
Volunteer Responsibilities May Include:

Answering scheduled prayer-line calls.

Listening carefully and responding with compassion.

Praying according to the caller’s expressed needs.

Sharing approved community-resource information when appropriate.

Following confidentiality, safety, and referral procedures.

Reporting urgent concerns to the designated program leader.
